Schmoozy 53 celebrates artists and the community that supports them. Running annually since 1998, Schmoozy has evolved from a silent art auction to an exhibition with works for sale by local artists. Works will be on sale both online and in-person throughout the four weeks, providing several Alberta artists, both emerging and established, with opportunities to grow their audience, get paid for their work, and connect with other artists and art lovers alike within the community.
As always, 50% of the proceeds of the works sold in the sale go back to the participating artists. Funds raised at Schmoozy always go back to our programming, allowing us to remain free to visit all year round!
This year, we're also hoping to raise funds to replace our nearly 20 year-old beer fridge! Buy a drink a from the bar this Schmoozy so we can get a new cooler that's more energy efficient and doesn't freeze our drinks.
Schmoozy will be open to the public in-person and online at schmoozy.ca from November 13–December 12.
Members receive 10% off all Schmoozy artwork purchases, and receive 20% off any Schmoozy artwork purchase of $530 and over—get your membership here!
Latitude 53 invites members and guests to join us on Friday November 13th for a celebration of all the artists and their work at 7pm. Schmoozy 53 is on view at Latitude 53 from November 13–December 12, 2026.
Gallery Hours: Wednesday–Friday, 12–5. Admission is free.
