The Hangout ✴ El Jangueo

Community members from Latin American diasporas are invited to The Hangout on Saturday, October 17. This is an informal gathering space to explore the exhibition “Autoconocimientos : Understanding ourselves” and connect with each other. Drawing activities and snacks will be part of the fun. The exhibition’s curator and some exhibiting artists will be in attendance. The event is free and open for drop-in at Latitude 53 between 5 to 8pm.

This event is designed by and for people with personal, family, and/or ancestral roots in the region commonly known as Latin America. Spanish, Portuguese, and other local languages are welcome! Please note the curator, Mariana Muñoz Gomez, as the host of the event speaks Spanish and English.

Miembros de diásporas de Latinoamérica: les invitamos al Jangueo el sábado 17 de octubre. El Jangueo será un espacio de encuentro informal para explorar la exposición “Autoconocimientos : Understanding ourselves” y para conectar entre sí. Tendremos actividades de dibujo y bocadillos. Le curadore de la exposición y algunes artistas participantes estarán presentes. El evento es de acceso libre y sin necesidad de inscripción previa, entre las 17h y las 20h.

Este evento ha sido diseñado por y para gente con raíces personales, familiares, y/o ancestrales en la región comúnmente conocida como Latinoamérica. ¡Español, portugués y otros idiomas locales son bienvenidos! Le curadore, Mariana Muñoz Gomez, quien actuará como anfitrión del evento, habla español e inglés.
