Join us on Saturday, August 17 from 5-7pm for the publication launch and closing reception of Bridget Moser’s You Opened That Can Now Let’s Eat the Whole Thing. The new publication will highlight the themes and inspiration for Moser's latest video and performance work and will also include a response to the exhibition by MFA Creative Writing candidate and critic, Maeve Hanna. Titled "under an Aquarian moon | thoughts for Bridget Moser", Hanna pulled four tarot cards for a reading, sharing her thoughts and impressions of Moser's work and of the artist.

You Opened That Can Now Let's Eat the Whole Thing, Moser's first exhibition in Edmonton, deals with the psychological implications of living in the shadow of a dying mall culture. Combining video, installation and performance, Moser considers the limitations of self-help practices and the implications of her own work in an age of blind consumption.
