This summer we are collaborating with Downtown Live to facilitate three FREE workshops with Elsa Robinson at Root 107. The second workshop takes place on July 31 from 2-4:30 PM.

All workshops are 2.5 hours and limited to 16 participants

Workshop II: Paint & Create

This workshop allows participants to follow the facilitators step by step instructions to create a painting. Elsa will select an image that is of interest to participants, that offers a reasonable level of challenge for beginner and intermediate art makers in completing the painting, and that can be successfully completed in the time frame.

1. Paint – participants are guided through step by step instructions to create the image presented by Elsa.

2. Create - Once the painting is complete, participants are guided in adding something of their own to the image, either on the background area or within the main image. This can be a colour, or shape or texture that they like.
