The Matrix Film Screening on Discord
Latitude 53 is moving Saturday drop-in visits back to appointments only, but we still want to connect throughout the winter. We are excited to introduce Saturdays on Discord, beginning Saturday, November 28 at 2pm with a free film screening and discussion of The Matrix.
The Matrix, along with other films by the Wachowski’s have been influential to Mark Clintberg’s current exhibition Portal. In works in Portal, Clintberg references Lana Wachowski’s quote, “… so that this world that we imagine in this room might be used to gain access to other rooms, to other worlds previously unimaginable.”
