Book Club

We are excited to host our newest iteration of our virtual book club with Megan Gnanasihamany, and Latitude 53’s Digital Program Coordinator, Sanaa Humayun, on Jackie Wang’s “Against Innocence: Race, Gender, and the politics of Safety”.

All readings will be uploaded to the community slack channel, and do not need to be purchased. We will be looking at supplementary readings alongside Wang’s writing each week.

The book club will take place through a Slack discussion board and four Zoom meetings on four Tuesday evenings:  March 2, March 9, March 16, and March 23, 5 pm MST.  Three days before each Zoom meeting, main discussion prompts will be posted in the board on Slack, and Slack channels will remain open in between sessions for further discussion on themes.
